The sneaker's form will resemble that of the 1985 model more closely, and age and distressing are likely to show on the top and midsole. The recognizable colorway is a white leather upper with a white nylon tongue, red leather overlays without the Swoosh, and a black ankle collar. White and red outsoles and a white midsole complete the sneaker, which has a red tongue tag and white Nike logo.
The packaging, "receipt," misaligned box top, and other features pay reference to the pursuit of the "Chicago" Air Jordan 1 following its 1984–85 release. These pursuits were inspired by searching the basements and storage areas of mom-and-pop stores back in the day.
According to rumors, 500k pairs of the highly sought-after sneakers will be made available worldwide when they launch. Given that 300k units are typically given, this is a large increase in units. If the claims are accurate, this is the first occasion Nike has increased the amount of Air Jordan 1s in stock.
