In Air Jordan 11 "Navy Velvet," Tinker Hatfield's renowned 1995 design is recreated. Instead of the mudguard's signature patent leather, the upper in deep-navy blue nubuck has an eye-catching matte velvet. A layer of texture is provided by navy tonal webbing eyelets. Only a metallic silver Jumpman emblem and its white Phylon midsole sitting atop a translucent rubber outsole distinguish the monochromatic upper from the rest of the shoe.
