Air Jordan 12 “Twist”
With more emphasis on Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 11, the Air Jordan 12 is an underrated and under-appreciated member of the Retro family. Jordan Brand will be releasing a new Air Jordan 12 “Twist” colorway that will be available in both men’s and grade school sizing this July.
The Air Jordan 12 “Twist” is a new non-OG colorway of the silhouette. A tribute to the home threads that Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen and company sported during their prime days playing in front of the United Center fans, this impending iteration bears premium leather uppers and scaly forefoot overlays, all of which are drenched in pure white.
Chicago-inspired accents are shown off through the metallic red accents that coat the eyelets and lower mid-foot’s branded panel as well as the red branding on the heel’s branded banners and “23” embellishments. Black notes also get thrown into the mix by backdropping the aforementioned banner and drenching the interior lining and tongue’s signature “TWO3” embroidery. Outsoles are predominantly presented with more white, but feature stark black chevron-patterned traction in the forefoot and heels along with red Jumpman logos that poke out towards the toe.
