Air Jordan 2 “Lucky Green”

The last year has seen Jordan Brand make a deliberate attempt to revive Jordan's second signature model, working with artists like Union, Titan, and J. Balvin as well as carrying out a number of inline releases. The Beaverton company is gradually revealing its lineup of models for 2023, and this "Lucky Green" outfit will be the first of several new colors for the Air Jordan 2 that year.

After 27 years, His Airness' 63-point performance against the Celtics is still remembered as a perfect example of a player who was prepared for Jordan's range of offers and was ready to test the both Air Jordan 1 and AJ 3 throughout the new year. The Bruce Kilgore and Peter Moore collaboration instead benefits from a dominantly white handled upper, casting the bluish gray hue across its perforated vamp, tongue, heel collar, and reptile-like midfoot overlay accented by a thin black strip. This contrasts with the aforementioned efforts' stark black contrasts. While cream-colored eye stays accentuate the top part of the shape, similar green hues placed along its heel counters and the winged logo on its tongue accentuate the lower half of the form for a centered impression.
