Air Jordan 3 Retro “Rust Pink”
Jordan Brand explicates their women’s lineup with this new Air Jordan 3 “Rust Pink” colorway that bears resemblance to Aleali May’s Air Jordan 6 from 2019. The colorway further expands the Jumpman’s collection of women’s exclusives. While the style may mimic the general idea of previous icons, it lenses many fixtures through a floral filter.
The pair’s upper yields in a rather tonal arrangement, and is dressed in a suede paneling instead of the typical tumbled leather. Elephant prints around the toe and heel maintain some of its original grey flair, but it's accompanied by a darker shade of the eye-catching “Rust Pink” that takes over much of the Air Jordan.
The Crimson hue takes over some eye-stays, the Jumpman logo on the tongue and the plastic midsole detailing towards the rear; branding on the spine boasts an embroidered makeup instead of a molded one, further leaning into the shoe’s lifestyle sensibility. Underfoot, most of the outsole partakes in an opaque finish that allows the aforementioned components to reveal that much more in the spotlight.
