Air Jordan 5 “Aqua”

The Air Jordan 5 "Aqua" bridges the gap between the 1990 version and its 1992 or 93 successor by applying the tried-and-true method of converting an original colorway to a new model. Although the Air Jordan 5 is not acquainted with aqua tones, it now comes packed with a vivid university gold yellow to gently reference the Air Jordan 8 "Aqua".

To properly understand that term, it is true that undertones of purple and crimson are absent. In fact, the impending Aqua 5s are more reminiscent of the Chris Paul Player Launch titles from his early days with New Orleans Hornets than anything else.
