With the game taking place in Charlotte, North Carolina it was only right for the sneaker to rep University Blue and Midnight Navy to pay homage to the Tar Heels. The color combo and use of patent leather is reminiscent of the 9 "Low Pearl" that dropped 17 years ago in 2002.
