There’s nothing better than giving back to the community and starting the school year on the right foot. On August 8th, GBNY teamed up with @SmilesThroughCars for a Back to School event filled with love, positivity, and the kind of energy that only Queens can bring.

The day was all about making sure kids in our community had the essentials they needed to kick off the new school year strong — from backpacks and school supplies to sneakers and positive vibes. Smiles lit up the faces of families as they came together, reminding us that giving back isn’t just about what’s in the bag, but the hope and confidence it brings to every student walking into the classroom.

And it didn’t stop there — we had an incredible turnout, with music, fun, and that signature GBNY family atmosphere. A huge shoutout to the Mayor for pulling up and showing support, making the day even more special. His presence highlighted the importance of community partnerships and what can happen when we all come together to lift up the next generation.
