GBNY x Adidas Celebrate Black Excellence with Grace Lamour
This Black History Month, GBNY is proud to join forces with Adidas to celebrate and honor individuals making a difference in our community. One such remarkable individual is Grace Lamour, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor whose dedication and advocacy have left an indelible mark on those she serves.
Born and raised in Queens, New York, Grace brings a unique perspective to her practice, having navigated the complexities of balancing multiple cultural identities as the child of Haitian-born parents. Her personal experiences have equipped her with a profound understanding of the challenges faced by Black people of African descent, people of color, and immigrants in today's society.
As the founder of @the.g.lamour.method.llc, Grace has dedicated her career to supporting individuals as they navigate the intricacies of assimilation, code-switching, and the various forms of oppression that impact marginalized communities. Through her empathetic approach and unwavering commitment, Grace provides a safe space for her clients to explore their identities, heal from past traumas, and cultivate a sense of self-love and empowerment.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions, GBNY and Adidas are thrilled to host a Self Love Seminar led by Grace Lamour as part of our Celebration of Black Excellence initiative. This seminar will provide attendees with invaluable insights and tools to nurture their mental and emotional well-being, fostering a culture of self-love, resilience, and empowerment within our community.
