GB'S Shopping Spree with Erica Mena and Safaree

For this month's GB'S Shopping Spree we teamed up with Erica Mena and Safaree to give away two $500 shopping sprees to local students who brought in their good report cards. Leading up to the spree, we asked students to come in with their A's and B's for the chance to win a $500 shopping spree each. Well, on the day of the event we had so many kids come in with their good grades that Erica and Safaree couldn't just stop at two students, they ended up picking seven. Yes, you read that right, seven students were gifted the chance to hang out and shop with the pair. All of the young ladies who were chosen were extremely excited and after showing off their excellent grades, they went straight to shopping. Erica and Safaree played the role of personal stylists as the young ladies told them their favorite colors and Nike silhouettes. It was a long day but everyone had a great time including the student's parents who were also in attendance for the event. When it was all said and done, all the girls took home a brand new pair of Nike or Jordan sneakers and we went a little bit over budget. It was all more than worth it to see the smiles on all of the girl's faces. They worked hard for their grades so it was only right that they were rewarded! We love giving back and we do it all for the love of our community that has supported us throughout the years.
