Air Jordan 13 "Cap and Gown"
Who remembers last years launch of the Cap and Gown 11s in May 2018? A better question may have been who can forget that major release. Jordan does it again this year blessing us on Saturday, April 27th with the Air Jordan “Cap and Gown” 13.
The hype surrounding these has been huge from the first look and Jordan aficionados are very impressed. Much like the Black Cat 13s from 2017, this sneaker is dressed from top to sole in black. The Cap and Gown 13 features patent leather on the upper in lieu of mesh, as well as black suede for the rest of the design. The patent leather makes the sneaker shine from afar and is eye catching while the suede gives it a very mature and more formal feel. Even the usual holographic 23 Jordan logo we are accustomed to seeing on the heel is completely blacked out. The only other color utilized is the icy blue sole which is a breath of fresh air we didn’t even know we needed. It serves as a pop of color that keeps the black so striking.
