Nike Air Force 1 Low CMFT EQUALITY
The Nike Air 1s have recently been in the market with a number of new designs and shoes. The legendary design, favorite of many, has been seeing plenty of new touches, with Nike’s designers going all out to give the old formula some new flavor. This has involved a lot of randomness and spontaneity, which can be seen in the new Nike Air 1 “Equality”. Much like the Air Max 98 “BHM”, this Nike Air 1 sports a large “EQUALITY” sign and makes no secret about it.
The Air 1 “Equality” offers a look that is quite different from the Air Jordan 1 and the LeBron 16, which also had the “Equality” displayed on them. The way to check out the modification from those two shoes is to just look at the midsole, which is white-faced, that has the letters spelled out in no exact theme, but as different variants. Displaying various symbols in the letters, the word “Equality” is seen multiple times extending all around the sole in a various styles. Different fonts and designs make the typography not only distinct, but also fun to look at.
The uppers on the shoe are white as well, with the only hint of color found on the heel tab. The leathers of this Air 1 are luxe, with a slight pebbling all cross them. This design helps the shoe in its attempt to direct towards the focal motif. All of these combines to give the shoe a clean look at the top and something busy at the bottom. The white of the shoe is disturbed by the “Equality” typography at the very bottom, which contrasts well with the white and screams what it wants to say out to everyone. It’s a shoe that gets its message heard.
The Nike Air 1 “Equality” rolled out for the public on the 19th of June, being currently available on retail and the Nike website.
