Little Accra is the nickname for the heavily Ghanaian area of the Bronx near 167th Street, named after Ghana’s capital and largest city.The offering comes decorated in ornate tapestry with premium leather covered in a colorful palette of red, burgundy, yellow, and rust orange. Highlighting the pair are gold gilded accents giving the silhouette a luxurious look. At the heel, embroideries of “Little Accra” appear in gold. Adding more spice to the mix are colorful insoles with “Sharing Stories” and Building Community,” followed by golden lace dubraes with Ghanian symbols. Sankofa is shown on the left shoe, representing the value of learning from the past, and Nserewa is shown on the right shoe, representing riches and abundance.
