Nike Air Force 1 Low “West Indies”

In commemoration of the West Indian Day Parade Carnival, the Nike Air Force 1 "West Indies" made its premiere in 2002. On the first Monday in September each year, the festival takes place as revelers dance across Brooklyn's Crown Heights district. The Nike Air Force 1 "West Indies" is making a comeback 20 years after its initial debut.

The original "West Indies" Air Force 1 features touches of green on the heel, sockliner, tongue tag, and outsole in addition to the traditional white-on-white color scheme. The distinctive element is the red, green, and yellow Carribean-themed West Indies emblem embroidered on the lateral heel. The tongue tags, lace dubraes, and insoles all bear branding from the West Indies, and the latter also provides images listing all of the Caribbean's minor island nations. Except for the "Anniversary Edition" language that has been added to the tongue tags, the 2022 edition is identical to the original 2002 release.
