The 90s era is still one of the most influential time periods for fashion and footwear, especially when it comes to Nike‘s archives as many of its models that were introduced during this era still hold just as much, if not more popularity today. One of those silhouettes is the Nike Air Max 95 and it’s now being reimagined in a fresh “Smoke Grey” or “Comet” palette that carries heavy Japanese influence.
This offering of the Nike Air Max 95 comes dressed in a mix of White and Red with Grey and Black detailing. The shoe is built with a combination of materials with hits of Red highlighting the eyelets, tongue branding, mini Swoosh and Air bubbles. The callout to Japan is spotted on the heels and underfoot midsole plate as well as having popular cherry blossom branches displayed on the insoles.
