Nike Air Raid “White Gum”
The Nike Air Raid is releasing in another version, this time with a simple yet elegant make-over. Despite being an icon amongst other Nike Basketball’s stories catalog, the Nike Air Raid has historically been overshadowed via other hoops sneakers from the ‘90s. Jerry Lorenzo collaborating with Nike, Inc. introduced us to the silhouette, which culminated with a reissue of its authentic colorway earlier in 2020. The best outdoors model has indulged in a summer season-appropriate, “White/Gum Light Brown” style for its subsequent undertaking.
It’s without a doubt that the Air Raid’s basketball remains an inspiration. The high-cut ankle collar, midfoot strap, pull-tab, and aggressive grip capture the essence of ’90s basketball. The mix of synthetic leather and breathable mesh that makes up the majority of the Air Raid’s upper boats a tonal “colorless” look. Tongues, pull tabs, and branding “X” lockdown straps follow suit. Underfoot, the story mostly remains the same, as durable midsole cushioning also appears in “White”. While not the most optimal arrangement in which to play outdoors basketball, the light-colored proposition complements the light gum bottom to deliver the perfect sneaker to hang around in for the summer.
