Nike Dunk Low “Golden Gals”

It seems that no matter the situation, there’s sure to be a Dunk to match your mood and fit your style. Nike is on a quest to see how far they can take the Dunk, coming up with every colorway, texture, and collab imaginable. For the latest release, Nike Dunk Low “Golden Gals,” this exclusive women’s release gets a cracked silver finish, making for a shiny metallic sneaker.

Nike has gone off on many tangents with the Dunk, applying simple material swaps/additions such as the recently revealed Dunk “Toasty” options as well as the women’s exclusive Dunk High Rebel. Gently returning to its home base is this upcoming Nike Dunk Low with cracked leather overlays in silver, giving the shimmering tone a bit of a weathered and worn look. It’s quite possible that those overlays could flake off and reveal another color beneath, although past Nike releases with the same materials didn’t quite have that feature.

Against the cracked leather is a tighter mesh underlay in white, adding a controlled contrast to the otherwise bold material option. The black suede Swoosh also adds a bit of subtlety, with matching heel logos and tongue labels to boot. Finally, a light grey rubber outsole adds a clean sporty look to this eye-grabbing creation, while the white sports mesh lining implies that retro Dunk look.
