Nike Dunk Low SE “Industrial Blue”
Nike's goods often have Japanese-influenced design aspects, such as the split toe of the ISPA Drifter and Setsubun-related details from earlier product launches. The "Industrial Blue" top of this newly revealed Dunk Low is patched in the time-honored sashiko stitching style, as is the case with every other iteration of the shoe. This would not be the first time that Nike has depended on this specific ability, since they have previously employed Sashiko on the Air Force 1 "Nai-Ke," but in a far busier version.
The well-liked design that was created by Peter Moore before he passed away shows restraint here by applying the effect just to the shoe's toe box and heel tab. There is no further decoration on the denim upper other than the contrast stitching that runs down the paneling on the exterior. Both the overlays and the under have the hue "Industrial Blue," with the under being tinted "Summit White."
