Owing to its eye-grabbing look and of course, the cornucopia of makeups, Kyrie Irving’s Nike Kyrie 5 tends to ranks amongst the most signature basketball shoes on the market. And now, Boston-based Bandulu is all set to collaborate as it teams up with the Nike Basketball. Bandulu is famous for its one-of-a-kind vintage-styled collection that takes you back into time but with a touch of new.
Though the brand has brought to use the vintage Nike clothing as an inspiration, this is a first with the Swoosh Brand. You would see that the Kyrie 5 carries the same aesthetics throughout the catalogs and merges them with Nike’s popular basketball model.
If you look closely, the Kyrie 5 comes with Cream across mesh upper, which depicts a splatter of multicolor paint overall, which is signature Bandulu’s approach to their design. Then there is the White on the Swoosh logo along with a mini Swoosh on the lateral side of the toe. The tongue and liner are highlighted by green that highlights it against the Cream-colored background, and the red hue is used for Kyrie branding and the outsole. The right heel features the Bandulu Street Couture and the Nike Basketball logo is inscribed on the left heel and acknowledges both of the collaborators of Nike’s Kyrie 5.
Although the Nike Kyrie 5 has experience plenty of iteration, as far as the Bandulu collaboration is concerned, it takes a somewhat muted and subtle approach but useful nonetheless. The shoe has the overall cream-colored upper and midsole, so this mode goes for a neutral color palette. The sole is bright red that catches the eye. The two colors complement each other, wonderfully creating a vibrant pattern.
The price point for Nike Kyrie 5 X Bandulu has not been confirmed yet. The shoe is expected to released through nike.com and other selected retailers. People can expect to witness this exciting collaboration on August 23rd, 2019.
