The LeBron 8, which will always be the mark of the beginning of LeBron’s Miami stint, is returning in the colorway that has been replicated on general releases and custom sneakers ever since it took the sneaker world by storm. For LeBron James, the sneaker often pointed out as his single greatest signature release is the “South Beach'' LeBron 8, a preheat colorway from 2010 that perfectly ushered in his tenure in Miami.
The “South Beach'' 8 is the cornerstone of Nike Basketball’s late 2000s/early 2010s Golden Era and partially responsible for modern sneaker hype as we know it. The pink flash and filament green in tandem with black detailing changed the game and made the LeBron 8 and ensuing remakes absolute must-haves. A mix between leather and flywire is implemented for the upper for a mix of raw and synthetic materials. Full length Air Max is used for impact protection and a translucent outsole brings it that icy touch.
