This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan 4. In celebration of such an iconic event, Nike’s Air Jordan brand is releasing a new and improved version using the classic ‘Flyknit’ material. It looks just as promising as it sounds.
When creating the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 3, Nike experimented, successfully, with the use of lightweight material to give the shoes a unique edge. Now, this trend continues with the introduction of the Air Jordan 4 Flyknit.
The very first thing that catches your eye is the Hyper Royal, Orange, University Red and Volt color scheme of the shoe itself. It establishes a bright yet funky tone that customers from selected geographical location will be able to enjoy very soon.
The upper of the Air Jordan 4 is made out of Flyknit supported by a layer of faux paneling that makes this shoe a textural wonder. Near the toe of the shoe, a more open and rigid design gives it a flatter look in comparison to the rest of the range.
As your eye glances over the shoe, you notice the matching and smooth midsole that gives the shoe a particular shape –even providing ample support for its structure. The tongue of the shoe, the heel and the insole supports the signature jump man logo that Air Jordan is known for along with the signature of Michael Jordan, the celebrated basketball player. It is a shoe for the classics.
The Air Jordan 4 Flyknit is set to be released on the 14th of June this year. They will be available at selected Nike retailers across the globe. Set at the price point of $220 , it is one investment that you must make in celebration of the iconic release of the Air Jordan 4 decades ago.
